Rural Bank of Rosario (La Union), Inc. was established on July 22, 1968 through the initiative of Engr. Jesus G. Tabora together with ten (10) incorporators who shared the vision of providing accessible and reliable banking services to the people of Rosario, La Union. The Bank was granted its Certificate of Authority by the Central Bank on March 13, 1969 and officially commenced operations on March 22, 1969. Since its establishment, the Bank has continuously strengthened its financial position through several increases in its authorized capital stock, reflecting its commitment to sustainable growth and long-term stability. As of August 13, 2014, the Bank’s authorized capital stock reached ₱40 million, consisting of 385,000 common shares and 15,000 preferred shares, each with a par value of ₱100.00. From its Head Office located at the RBR Building, McArthur Highway, Poblacion East, Rosario, La Union, the Bank steadily expanded its presence across Northern Luzon. Today, it operates branches in Sto. Tomas (La Union), San Fabian, Sison, Binalonan, Pozorrubio, Agoo, Aringay, and Pugo, as well as Branch-Lite Units in Rosario, Caba, and Agoo. The Agoo, Aringay, and Pugo Branches, together with the Caba and Agoo Branch-Lite Units, are the Bank’s most recent acquisitions, having formerly operated under the Rural Bank of Agoo. Through its expanding network, the Bank continues to provide dependable financial services to individuals, entrepreneurs, farmers, and local businesses.
